photo presets and how
do they work
Photo presets are pre-configured settings that instantly enhance your photos with just one click.
Below you will find instructions on how to install and use them across different versions of Lightroom.
Windows (Lightroom Classic)
1. Download the Presets
Save the downloaded preset files (.xmp) into any folder on your computer.2. Open Lightroom Classic
Launch the app and switch to “Develop” module.3. Import the Presets
In the left sidebar under “Presets”, click the “+” icon and choose “Import Presets”. Find the folder where you saved the .xmp files and import them.4. Apply a Preset
Open a photo. In the “Presets” panel, click the preset you want to use — it will be applied immediately.
Mac (Lightroom Classic)
1. Download the Presets
Save the .xmp files to any location on your Mac.2. Open Lightroom Classic
Launch Lightroom and go to the “Develop” module.3. Import the Presets
In the left panel under “Presets”, click the “+” icon and choose “Import Presets”. Select the .xmp files from your downloads to load them into Lightroom.4. Apply a Preset
Open an image in Lightroom. Choose any preset from the “Presets” panel to apply the look to your photo.

Using in Lightroom (Version 14)

1. Download the Presets
Save the .xmp preset files to a folder on your device. 2. Open Lightroom (v14)
Launch Lightroom and make sure you are in “Edit” mode using the Edit panel on the right.-
3. Import the Presets
Click the “Presets” button at the bottom of the Edit panel. In the Presets menu, tap the “three dots” in the top-right corner and select “Import Presets”. Locate and select the .xmp files you saved earlier.

4. Apply a Preset
Choose any photo and open the Presets menu. Pick a preset from the imported list to apply it instantly. -
5. Adjust and Fine-Tune
After applying a preset, you can modify settings such as exposure, contrast, or color to achieve the exact look you want.

No, you don’t need any special software to use the presets. However, you will need Lightroom Classic (version 4.0 or later) or Lightroom (version 14 or later) to install and apply the presets to your photos.
These presets are intended for use with Lightroom Classic and Lightroom Desktop (version 14 or later). Unfortunately, they are not compatible with the mobile version of Lightroom, as it doesn’t support the .xmp preset format.
